At Tomasina Cattery, our care-giving goes well beyond just the physical needs of your cat. The emotional state of your pet is just as important as his or her physical well-being. To that end, we take great pains to reduce occurrences of stress, frustration, loneliness – and yes, even boredom – in the life of your beloved cat.

Tomasina Cattery is located in Joostenbergvlakte, Cape Town on a smallholding in a tranquil area.
You are welcome to visit our cattery and chat about the care of your cats. We understand that you want to be confident about their welfare while you are away and will gladly show you our facilities.
Spacious and comfortable accommodation
Our accommodation consists of 55 rooms with securely enclosed gardens that lead off from the rooms. We house single cats in their own private room with own garden time. We accommodate families in a shared family room with private garden time, hence your cat(s) will not share rooms or garden time with strange cats.
The rooms and gardens are fully enclosed. We have spent much time on ensuring that the cattery is “escape proof”
MEALS
We serve excellent quality cat food to our guests. Fresh water is always available and is changed twice a day. If your cat has special dietary requirements it can be arranged. If you would like your cat to have special treats, we ask that you bring it with you.
Hygiene is very important to us which is why we thoroughly clean cages and replace litter daily. Bedding is changed and washed weekly in our laundry – and changed between new arrivals.
Our staff grooms the cats daily and we provide plenty of love – lots of purrs here!
