At Tomasina Cattery we have a total of 55 rooms. The accommodation is spacious and comfortable. Single cats are housed in a private room with private garden time. Families are housed in their own family room with private paved garden. Rooms vary in size according to the number of cats in the family.

Our securely enclosed gardens that lead off from our rooms provide space for cats to lounge on logs and/or benches in the garden area to sit outside on those lovely sunny days and to have a restful afternoon nap.

Each bedroom is equipped with a variety of custom built levels to relax on, a basket to cuddle up in, natural scratching pole and private sand box unit. All units come equipped with blankets, pillows and we also supply toys.

The cattery has been built up over time and ensures that the cats are as comfortable as they could possibly be considering that they are in a strange place and probably a little confused. 

Much time was spent on ensuring the cattery was completely “escape proof”.

Rooms are thoroughly cleaned daily. Bedding is changed and washed weekly in our laundry – and changed between new arrivals. We use a variety of litter in our litter-boxes, which is replaced and cleaned daily. Hygiene is of upmost importance to us. Our main priority is ensuring the safety, health and well being of your cat/s.

Bedrooms

Each bedroom is equipped with a variety of custom built levels to relax on and private sand box unit. All units come equipped with blankets, pillows and we also supply toys. Optionally we can provide a basket or igloo for your cat to cuddle up in, but we prefer that the cats not hide but interact with the staff as they go about their daily tasks.

Exercise gardens

We have spent much time on ensuring the cattery is completely “escape proof”. Rooms and gardens are completely enclosed. Our staff thoroughly cleans each room daily. Bedding is changed and washed weekly in our laundry – and changed between new arrivals. Food and water bowls are washed daily. We use natural sand in our litter-boxes, which is replaced and cleaned daily because hygiene is of upmost importance to us.
